Towards the bow of the ship

June 11-13, 2015 - We conduct three dives at the HMS Hermes. The conditions are exceptional as we explore the ship from stern to bow over three dives. The visibility close to the surface if near perfect. Down below the visibility is slightly less owing to the low light of the early morning dives we did and also plankton in the water. Marine life was great with large Dog Tooth Tuna scouring around the ship and huge shoals of Big Eye Trevally around the bow of the ship. On the second day we experienced a strong currents as the tides dropped. However on the third day the conditions were absolutely great with no currents and we penetrated the ship from the bow and explored the area near the forward toilets. All in all a great expedition!
