Blast from the past (www.DiveSriLanka.com) The late 19th Century Colombo Sri Lanka These are pictures of the Colombo Harbor and the Galle Face Green in the late 19th Century, capturing the true romance of Ceylon in a bygone era. Imagine how pristine the seas would have been those days! These pictures were apparently taken in 1865-75 period. That’s over 131 years ago! We received these pictures on e-mail from a fellow diver.
