19/03/10: This is one of the most pristine coral reefs in Sri Lanka!

Far away from land, in near limitless visibility, the first impression to mind is - this is a really healthy reef!

it comprises of two distinct habitats. A soft coral habitat and a larger patch reef comprising of sporadic bommies or large coral domes. Both locations are equally beautiful and harbors various types of marine life.

A treat to the eye and a reward to the patient diver who will care enough to look in between the corals for small things in life and then be surprised by the big things such as Giant Stingrays!
