Beautiful beaches stretches for miles and miles
Less than an one hour drive from Galle towards Matara brings you to Weligama, the village of sand. A lazy fishing village situated by a large natural bay shielded by a shallow coral reef. The beaches of Weligama stretching towards Mirissa are indeed beautiful and an epitome of tropical paradise. They are voted among the top ten beaches in the world.
Here you find a great shallow reef to snorkel and also fantastic rock formations undersea & resident marine life for SCUBA diving. Most of the dive sites are between 15M to 20M and open up towards the deep blue. On a day of good visibility complex rock formations are scenic and the swim through's and caves a load of fun to dive.
