Barber's Clownfish

Appearance

A bright orange-red anemonefish, usually without adult body bars — closely related to, and easily confused with, the Fire Clownfish (Amphiprion melanopus).

Distribution & Habitat

Restricted to Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa in the western Pacific.

Host Anemones & Behavior

Hosted mainly by Entacmaea quadricolor and Heteractis species, with the same social, hermaphroditic breeding structure found across the genus.
