Tomato Clownfish

Appearance

A bright red-orange fish named for its rounded, tomato-like shape; adults usually keep only a single white head bar, while juveniles may show faint body bars that fade with age.

Distribution & Habitat

Found across the western Pacific, from Japan south to Indonesia and the South China Sea.

Host Anemones & Behavior

Primarily hosts in Entacmaea quadricolor. It is known to be one of the more territorial and aggressive anemonefish toward intruders near its host anemone.
