Twoband Anemonefish

Appearance

An orange-brown fish with two white bars and yellowish fins, one of the most commonly seen anemonefish on Red Sea reefs.

Distribution & Habitat

Found in the Red Sea and western Indian Ocean.

Host Anemones & Behavior

Hosts in Entacmaea quadricolor, Heteractis crispa, and Heteractis magnifica, and follows the same omnivorous diet and hermaphroditic social structure as other Amphiprion species.
